Compact NS series molded case circuit breakers are equipped with a micro logic control unit that can be changed on site, control units are designed to protect power circuits and loads, alarms may be programmed for remote indications.
Measurements of currents, voltages, frequencies, power and power control continuities of service and energy management, protection thresholds and delays are set using the adjustment dials:
■ Overload protection;
□ True rms long-time protection;
□ Thermal memories for thermal image before and after tripping;
□ Setting accuracy may be enhanced by limiting the setting range using a different long-time;
■ Short circuit protection;
□ Short time of rms and instantaneous protection;
□ Selection of I square t type for short time delay, On or Off;
■ Indication: overload indication by alarm LED on the front, LED goes on the current exceeds the long-time trip threshold.
